Flakpanzer 38T

Hi again,

my last little painting update for the Lehr...
I really like the background on these guys, Czech tanks, which basically outlived their usefulness and got repurposed for AA, thought I was pleasantly surprised they also ended up serving as the base for the Hetzer too.

I mainly choose them as they were nice cheap AA for a 6th platoon, but enjoyed painting them too.
That's it for my Lehr though might take a little break from the Germans for a while, who knows what next!

Thanks for looking Adam

  2. Nice work... looking at them makes me wonder if the chassis was also used for the Marder IIIM?

  5. Had a Platoon consisting of 1 x Flak Panzer 38t and a 2cm Quad on a Panzer IV Chassis (Earth and Steel), however since Atlantik Wall came out the AA Platoon for 12SS has now changed to a non-mixed unit!!......so it's off to the store for another 38t!.............can't say I'm sorry, as its a lovely looking vehicle.
