Hello All

Welcome to Beyond The Foxholes Episode 14

We join Ben, Adam and Winner Dave as they talk all things Flames of War

In Act 1 we go through what we have been up too, a little bit of Battlefront news and a look at the new Remagen book & it's place in the current tournament "Meta"

Then in Act 2 we go through the Winner Dave's Mail Bag and look at some commonly overlooked rules.

Then finally in Act 3 we round out the episode with 10.1 and a look at direct fire smoke and the up and coming Welsh Open.

  2. When you guys were talking about bogging and whether moving your turret causes a bog. During normal movement it doesn't require a bog check, but when moving a turret during a Stormtrooper move it does require a bog check See this from Lessons from the Front:

    "If I take a Stormtroopers move with a tank, can I just rotate the turret without moving?

    You can rotate the turret without moving the hull, but this still counts as movement (so would require a Bogging Check if the tank was in Difficult Going for instance). This is because the only reason for doing so in Flames Of War is to present your armour in a different fashion to the enemy. In the game you can do this by simply rotating the turret, but in reality, it would require some degree of movement to be truly effective in achieving that goal."
