The Black Bull - Final Batch of Cromwells

Hello All,

I have had a busy month, possibly my busiest month I have ever had! Between moving and my Stag Do the first 10 days have been a little nuts and with moving again! my wedding and a honeymoon of sorts the month isn't getting any quieter! But I have found a little time to finish off the final (for now) 5 Cromwells and Challenger for my 11th Armoured army.

The last six included the Company HQ and the 3rd Platoon of Cromwells.

The Company Commander and 2IC. I choose to have these models as the only tanks with two crew looking out of the hatches so it's easier to stop them during a game.

And now the Cromwells as a whole

One of the things I have been happy with is that all three platoons look the same despite them being painted at different time and without a mix for the highlight mixed in a pot.

Really looking forward to getting a game in with these guys. Next up I will be painting up a platoon of Universal Carriers, but I'm not sure when I will get a chance to paint them with the wedding in 10 days....

As always thanks for reading and until next time

  1. Very nice company of tanks, and they just look the part trundling past those houses!

  2. Very nice. Great looking tanks. To job.
You sound very busy. I am amazed you found time for this.

  3. They look great! Nice work. Congrats on the wedding!

  4. Great work.
And as you said, its somehow difficult to paint another batch of tanks to make them look as the previusly painted.

  5. They look great. If you hadn't mentioned the time distribution, I never would have picked up on it.

  6. Beautiful! Good luck with the big day...

  7. Thanks Guys for the complements and the good luck wishes.

  8. Congrats on the wedding! (and yesh, the models look good to!)

  9. Looks great Ben. Best wishes on your wedding :)

Btw, I'd like to ask about Bag the Hun. Can i email you privately?
If you don't mind, you can mail me at khairuleff@gmail.com
