I guess my problem with them was they didn't turn out how I thought the would.

Looking forward to January/February when me and Adam should have enough terrain to start playing some games.

BenBenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07727751389191052408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-504019008093553470.post-87943768645216834102012-12-03T14:46:36.292+00:002012-12-03T14:46:36.292+00:00I think the fields look great - turned, but then f...I think the fields look great - turned, but then frosted / frozen in for winter. Hard as iron, and cold as a witch's heart. Loads of atmosphere there.fireymonkeyboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05833974263127787678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-504019008093553470.post-18767033271384913722012-12-03T12:17:38.256+00:002012-12-03T12:17:38.256+00:00Mixing them is the way to go. As for the field, it looks good to me but if you wanted to go farther next time I would consider some patches of ice in between the rows and possibly slush(if you want a already traversed field).

As to standardized uniforms I think Korea is the safe bet, but seriously I think the the m43 jacket started to see wide spread issue by fall of 1944 along with the new m43 boot. Most veterans did not switch to the new boots or jacket. Hope that helps.doom_of_the_peoplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05556973447747533412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-504019008093553470.post-89209662732119941702012-12-03T10:09:00.477+00:002012-12-03T10:09:00.477+00:00Great work, a great start to the army! Like the idea of mixing in the Open Fire Para figures, I got really confused trying to work out if the Yanks were all wearing the same uniform by winter '44. An easy solution you've come up with.

Adding terrain to your challenge is a fantastic idea. The field looks great from here btw, no worries there.Vladdd309https://www.blogger.com/profile/00638331803401829636noreply@blogger.com
